Training session 1 :

On Friday February 18th 2022, Community Enterprise Network, Mahasarakham Province, Thailand has started to congratulate for cassava product on this occasion of new brand opening. This social entrepreneur is one of MSU-SEKH case challenge for solve their problem using our knowledge, research and facility.

Training session 2 :

On Sunday June 12th,2022, Rai Sod Sai Thai Vapi Farm, Wapi Pathum, Maha Sarakham attended the training on “Introduciton to Social Entrepreneurship, Introduction to Erasmus_STEPUP, Product Design & Development, Knowledge Transfer on Green Energy for Drying Herbs & Raw Agro-products and Marketing & Planning”

Training session 3 :

On Thursday June 16th 2022, Mahasarakham University Khamriang Sub-District, Kantarawichai District, Maha Sarakham was attended in the 3rd vocational training in the pollution reduction caused by burning agricultural waste, Product Design & Development for reducing global, presentation and marketing & Planning.

Training session 4 :

On Saturday July 9, 2022, the Jasmine Rice, Phra Bu, Phra Yuen, KhonKaen Province, Thailand has attaned for two trainings on the product value added and online marketing, and the latter was innovation and technology of electric trains in agriculture.

Training session 5 :

On Sunday July 10, 2022, Don Mun, Kham Riang, Kantharawichai, Maha Sarakham Province, Thailand has visited and provided initial consultation about product branding and package design to add value to the product in business expansion. Build an income base for social entrepreneurs.

Training session 6 :

On Tuesday July 12th,2022, Community Enterprise Network, Mahasarakham Province, Thailand was visits to consult for Cassava SE on the topic of Crowdfunding, group Work and Development of biomass conversion technology from agricultural waste

Training session 7 :

On Sunday July 17, 2022, Don Mun, Kham Riang, Kantharawichai, Maha Sarakham Province, Thailand was visited to consult for Khram SE on the topic analyzing the Business Model Canvas of product development together with brainstorming in naming the Khram Raining brand, as well as providing knowledge on branding and packaging design.

Training session 8 :

On Wednesday, August 10th 2022, Mahasarakham University Khamriang Sub-District, Kantarawichai District, Maha Sarakham, Thailand was trained by MSU SEKH on a training activity to educate new generation entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs for MSU students in order to develop their businesses and help society in their area. As the university motto, Public devotion is a virtue of the learned.

Training session 9 :

On Monday August 14th 2022, Mahasarakham University Khamriang Sub-District, Kantarawichai District, Maha Sarakham, Thailand continued the training to educate the project Erasmus_StepUP Feasibility plan, business development approach from students to social entrepreneurs.

Training session 10 :

On Monday August 29th 2022, Mahasarakham University Khamriang Sub-District, Kantarawichai District, Maha Sarakham, Thailand continuously trained and develop student personnel. To enhance the potential to become a new generation of technology entrepreneurs. Provide opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in their field of study to use in real practice as well as being able to extend the concept from training to further development to become a real business.

Cassava-entrepreneurs

It’s time to present some of our participants of our currently ongoing case challenge. Cassava entrepreneurs is one participating social enterprise from Maha Sarakham Province, Thailand. Mr. Thanongsak worasan teaches six groups in the province about cassava processing. Through the case challenge, he wants to gain experience and knowledge on strategy, technology and innovation. The electrical and computer engineering master’s student Thanaruk prosing works with his advisor Chonlatee Photong of the Mahasarakham University on the case challenge. For Thanaruk prosing it’s exciting to use his problem-solving knowledge and recognize business opportunities. The student expects to learn from the enterprise and ultimately improve himself.

Don Ya Nang

Mr. Suparat Chanchiang is an organic rice entrepreneur from the "Don Ya Nang" brand, which is located in the Roi Et province, Thailand. Through the case challenge, they want to improve their management and product integration and learn how to implement the right strategy. Their most desirable outcome of the project is to develop more versatile products and expand the product range. The Business Administration student Thaya Panthong of Mahasarakham University in Thailand looks forward to challenging themselves, and developing and learning together. The most exciting is working together in the community and applying knowledge. The student also expects to broaden their experience in social business administration.

DON KENG Farm

Uthai Aphailun is the owner of a mushrooms farm called DON KENG Farm in Khon Kean city, Thailand, which also operates as a knowledge hub. They participate in the case challenge to gain knowledge on new technology and strategy. Through the case challenge, Uthai Aphailun hopes to improve their technological process of mushroom culture. They work together with the electrical and computer engineering master’s student Tawanrat Praputrungsee of Mahasarakham University who is interested in helping social enterprises improve and who wants to gain knowledge about growing mushrooms.

Rai Por Piang Dee Farm

Rai Por Piang Dee Sugar Cane Organics is represented by Thanupha Saithip, producing organic sugar cane and syrup. They also offer a learning center to help collectively generate a sustainable income for the community by teaching organic sugar cane planting. In the case challenge they want to find solutions to marketing problems. They hope that the new marketing strategy will lead to a stable income to support unemployed people in the area as well as family members. Parinya Lerdprasert is a master’s student in strategies management at Mahasarakham University. In the case challenge, the student and CEO of a tech company wants to help entrepreneurs become more sustainable and successful. The student is excited to create sustainability and avoid future mistakes of social enterprises. The goal is to gain experience and participate in development.

Thai Herb

Mrs. Duangduean Pratitangko represents Thai Herb that is producing 100 % organic herbal products. Through STEPup and the case challenge, the firm wants to become known in Europe. They hope to improve their public relations and ultimately be able to export to foreign countries. They want to overcome obstacles such as transportation or lack of facilities that are currently affecting delivery dates. Through the project, they desire to be able to export their products and equip themselves with a greenhouse or herb dryer. The electrical and computer engineering master’s student Mr. Nattaphol Nasathit of Mahasarakham University wants to help the social enterprise by applying his knowledge of engineering and business planning. He is excited to find solutions to the firm’s real needs.
