U Kyaw Soe Naing represents the Mandalay Mango Social Enterprise. The Sein Ta Lone mangoes cultivation and production of dried mango products started in 2015. In the case challenge, he expects to gain knowledge and experience of Social Enterprises and build a valuable network. His most desirable outcome is an advanced learning process for business ideas, innovation for Social Enterprises in Myanmar and a collaboration between partners in Myanmar and Thailand.
The student Phyu Phwe Thant studies Social Enterprise Management. She is excited to gain valuable knowledge in production and business management of social enterprises, create a video, and collaborate with the business. She expects to improve skills related to critical thinking, IT, and time management.

Dearland Organic Coffee, Pyin Oo Lwin

U Nyi Nyi started Dearland Organic Coffee, Pyin Oo Lwin in 2019 in Mandalay, Myanmar. During the case challenge, he expects to expand his knowledge on Social Enterprises, learn about the strengths and weaknesses of his business and realize action plans. He hopes to develop advanced business ideas and enjoys collaboration and networking.
The student Aung Soe Lin participates in a business marketing training course related to Social Business. In the case challenge, he expects to learn about Social Enterprises. He is excited about creating social media videos and connecting with stakeholders, as well as learning about production and distribution processes. He hopes to improve analytical thinking, as well as communication and IT skills.

Natural Gold

U Yar Zar Htay represents the Social Enterprise Natural Gold Palm Plate Products, which is not making use of plastic nor chemicals. He is participating in the case challenge to learn about Social Enterprises, business models, business plans and marketing. He hopes to benefit from innovation, technology and support for his Social Enterprise.
Phyoe Wai Soe is studying in an MBA programme at Meikhtila University of Economics, Mandalay and is also owning a business selling traditional agricultural products. She is excited to learn strategies for the production, distribution and sustaining of Social Enterprises. She expects to gain experience of business research and crowdfunding.

Pyae Pyae Food Production

Tin Tin Mya started the Social Enterprise Pyae Pyae Food Production in 2006, which is selling various mango products. In the case challenge, she enjoys gaining knowledge related to Social Enterprises and networking. She hopes to promote and export Myanmar mangoes globally.
The student Ni Lar Oo is studying in an MBA programme at Mandalay University and is participating in the case challenge to learn more about Social Enterprises and writing papers. She also expects to gain knowledge about crowdfunding and starting a social business.

Myanmar Tea Leaf company Limited

U Myo Win Aung and Daw Khin Ye Yupar Aye represent Myanmar Tea Leaf Company Ltd. They produce conventional Shan Shwe Taung and Paline, which is a premium organic brand. Their organic teas are grown on about 397 acres in partnership with about 252 farmers. In the case challenge they present their manufacturing and research and development processes. Their goals are to improve the life of tea farmers in Myanmar and to support society, as well as building a green environment for their tea farmers. As a next step, they are entering the international market.
The student Moh Moh Theint is doing her MBA at Mandalay University. She is impressed of Shan Shwe Taung and their innovative export products. She is excited to learn about Social Enterprises and understanding business. The student hopes to learn more about business concepts and apply them in practice.

PSU Farmer Market

Worapat Phaikeaw is a PSU Farmer’s Market manager. The market was established at the Faculty of Natural Resources, Prince of Songkla University as a distribution centre for agricultural products. They seek to maximize the benefits of beneficiaries, society, customers, and the environment. The market operates as a learning centre for students. Through the case challenge, students can gain new experiences and develop themselves. The PSU Farmer Market wants to be a supporting and encouraging participant in this network.
The agricultural development student Manatsawee Sae-Taew participates in the case challenge to gain new experience working with other people and social entrepreneurs. She expects to develop professional and soft skills and is excited about the field trips.
